When we reflect on the origins of our garden plants, we often recognize the plant hunting exploits overseas in east Asia. However, the stories of our garden plants can be found on our shores as immigrants who sought better opportunities in the United States brought with them the plants evocative of the homes they left. A ten minutes Q&A will follow the last Gardener’s Voice presentations; Eric Hsu, Hasan Malik, and Leah Blanton.
